In Canada the Electricity Act requires that you use only products that with electrical approvals from companies approved by the Standards Council of Canada.

It should noted that most products sold online do not meet any electrical safety code and have no electrical approvals. Selling, buying and using unapproved devices is in violation of The Canadian Electricity Act.  This is also of importance to American Customers.  Failure to comply with Electrical Safety Codes could result in changes under the Electricity Act.  Do not risk your home or vehicle insurance by violating electrical safety codes, acts or laws.  Electricity can kill you. Devices without approvals are often built cheap in China and follow no standards.

This item carries and displays the proper electrical certification and markings required by law. It is of superior quality and has been certified as such. There is a reason why some other generators are cheaper and that is because it costs more to do it right! 

The Aurora Generator includes a built pre-heater. Its purpose is to assist fuel in vaporizing inside the combustion chamber during cold days and cold starting. Without a pre-heater starting a diesel generator can be difficult. You will also find our generator has an access panel on the top of the enclosure. This hatch will let you access the decompression leaver to assist in starting in extreme condition.  It is like a hood for your car. Without this access you would need to remove the enclosure or reach in from some other angle to use the decompression leaver, change a fuel injector or adjust a valve.  (Many cheaper brands don't have this access door)
